Afghanistan
The current situation in Afghanistan should have one or two things to teach us. For more than 20 years, the US government forces landed in Kabul ready for a mission to attack the Talibans and ensure that they don't have a base to plan and attack like they did in the famous 9/11.
For 20 years, the US forces trained the Afghanistan forces, recruited the youths of Afghanistan to join the army, empowered their army with strong and expensive weapons. Despite all this investments, the Afghanistan army didn't grow and become stable. Think about it, for twenty years. That's a twenty year old young man. He's no longer a child. A 20 year old can walk, talk, work and knows what is right and wrong.
Ironically, Afghanistan refused to grow and mature. It's like a 20 year old man depending on his mother to feed him. If at all they can't stand on their self after 20 years of empowerment, this clearly indicates that they don't have the ability to build a government. It's fair enough to let the Talibans who are ready and have the ability to build a government to go ahead and do so. You can't be trained by the best forces in the world, be equipped with the most expensive weapons and still fail to stand and protect your sovereignty.
For those blaming America for withdrawing their forces in Afghanistan should understand that Afghanistan isn't a part of America and they can't keep on investing billion of dollars in a foreign country for years especially after there was a peace agreement between the Talibans and the then us president, Donald Trump.
Folks, the situation in Afghanistan teaches us that growth and change is inevitable. You must be ready to grow and if you don't adapt to change then you won't be able to make progress. Read more to expand your mind, go out on trips to have the exposure, research more on the world's current trends. This is because if you don't grow then you'll be outgrown by the world.
